The clock and its visual environment use resources included with Candelr. You can keep settings only while the page is open or allow them to be remembered for your next visit.
Control what this browser stores
Turning this off deletes saved settings and keeps only your choice not to save them. The clock still works during your visit. You can also remove that choice in your browser’s site-data settings.
Resets the clock. If Remember stays on, later changes will be saved again.
Return to the clock2. What Candelr stores
Candelr uses localStorage, a browser storage mechanism separate from cookies. In this version, first-party code does not set advertising cookies or include usage analytics. Local storage still deserves disclosure and control even though it is not a cookie.
candelr.web-beta.preferences.v1- Remembers the timeframe, appearance, and other clock settings when saving is enabled. It stays in this browser until you delete it, an update replaces it, or the browser clears its data. The key’s historical name does not change Candelr’s public name.
candelr.storage-opt-out.v1- Stores the value 1 when you disable saving, solely to remember your refusal. It contains no personal identifier and is not sent as part of a Candelr request. Clearing all site data also removes this choice.
Settings are remembered by default; you can disable saving using the controls on this page. Changes do not delete data from other browsers or devices. If your browser blocks storage, the clock can still work with temporary settings.
3. Visual environment and connections
The immersive environment is rendered in your browser using Candelr resources. It includes no external scenes and requests no permission to connect to background providers. Changing the appearance, color, or intensity does not activate third-party services.
Following a link to another site or opening an email draft takes you to a separate service. Its cookies, storage, and policies depend on that service; the controls on this page do not manage them.
4. Scope of these controls
These controls apply to Candelr in this browser. They do not prevent hosting logs, change your email provider’s settings, or guarantee anonymity online. Read the privacy policy for providers, purposes, and retention criteria.
